Randy and Don were important in my book. I understand that they all parted ways with Felder at a certain point, but I liked him. Still, Felder was not a founding member, if I understand correctly. I am biased because of a loyal friend who has personal connections to the original band.

Totally different band than in 1972, but that’s when they were the best, IMHO. I like all the other members enough, but my hat is really off to the original band.

That’s cool. At one show, a stadium, Walsh was playing with them again & his softball team showed up, in uniforms. Backstage passes were handed out to them and they hung around the outdoor, tented cratering area eating our food until the show started. ;O)

Sounds fun. To be honest, I’ve never seen them perform live They were excellent. Absolute top shelf musicians. Fantastic vocals. No auto tune. They could do it live, not just in the studio.

They had very good vocal training, as I understand it. Learned perfect harmonies from…others. They practiced till they had it right. Or so I’ve been told.
