My son is dating a very sweet girl. Her former boyfriend is “transitioning” and is a “lesbian” also. They remain friends, but she had to tell him she wasn’t a lesbian, and broke it off with him. Thank God. She is a wonderful young lady, and we are so glad she’s with our son now. I think she’s afraid her friend will commit suicide, and that may still happen. Life is tough, and people are making it tougher on themselves unnecessarily.
I bet the transitioning ex-boyfriend is very, very liberal politically. Friends is fine, but I’m sure your son’s sweetie will be far better off with a real, grounded man.
I hope she’s beyond guilt-tripping herself over this.
