How stupid would a person have to be to be distracted from an actual news story about the President by a UFO story in a local magazine that mostly covers restaurants?

I chuckle when I hear that stuff is a “distraction” as if people are not capable of paying attention to two things at once. Lol.
Outrageous media coverage about lots of stuff these days are not nearly as interesting as the UFO story.

There is no proof of anything. Just anecdotal reports (which might be just hallucinations). Why do people get so upset?

Well, you seem to be under the notion that these outlets exist to push a political viewpoint. They don’t. They exist to get clicks. And sensationalism always gets clicks.

If that were true, Hunter would be making UFO reports and claiming he was abducted by aliens over the weekend and couldn't have left the cocaine in the White House.
Ask people you know, "Have you been reading all the news about UFO's...they're everywhere!???"

I like to keep up with what is going on, but the squirrel thing has me baffled. What does it refer to? It certainly sounds pejorative.
Are they calling Ronald Reagan a squirrel. He said he saw an UFO and mentioned at least twice an invasion from outer space.
You would be hard pressed to find a military pilot or passenger jet pilot who has not seen and UFO. I have talked to some and they tell me they are told to keep quiet.
