My pleasure. Yes it is long but well worth it. They briefly cover the topics in the beginning, and then they visit them again in more detail later.
But it sure fills in a lot of blanks that come up here in these discussions. Like “why never a clear picture”, folding space time, inter-dimensional, and Etc.
Lets start with this:
The universe is estimated to be approx. 13.8 billion years old (give or take a few weeks)
There are an estimated 200 billion galaxies in the "observable" universe.
If any life exists somewhere out there, it's not unreasonable to imagine that they may be hundreds if not thousands of years more advanced than us.
Just because we exist does not mean that any life out there has to be at the same technological level as us.
Witness the inhabitants of the North Sentinel Island, which has been banned from anyone even stepping foot on the island. They've been there as long as we have in America but still live in huts and hunt with spears........

Exactly right. And compared to these entities we still live in huts and use spears. We cannot try to presume their technology level using our own as an example.

That is “meat” to me.
How they construct their craft is interesting. Seamless from elemental atoms they create and assemble themselves. Kind of like 3D printing but making the atoms as needed for each system component. No shaping, soldering, welding, Etc.
Why is it necessary to believe in either one if we are experiencing visitations from a civilization perhaps a thousand years more advanced than us that has already overcome Einstein's theory and mechanical entities?
You're basing your assumption on what we know of today's limited knowledge of propulsion and even quantum physics.
Can you tell me with certainty what science and astro physics will discover and develop within the next 100 or 200 years?

Its all just a natural phenomenon untill you see the meat.There is nothing there that proves anything extra terrestrial.

The Fermi paradox
Italian-American physicist Enrico Fermi’s name is associated with the paradox because of a casual conversation in the summer of 1950 with fellow physicists Edward Teller, Herbert York, and Emil Konopinski. While walking to lunch, the men discussed recent UFO reports and the possibility of faster-than-light travel. The conversation moved on to other topics, until during lunch Fermi blurted out, “But where is everybody?” (although the exact quote is uncertain).
The Fermi paradox is the discrepancy between the lack of conclusive evidence of advanced extraterrestrial life and the apparently high likelihood of its existence. As a 2015 article put it, “If life is so easy, someone from somewhere must have come calling by now.”

Did Fermi ever look around at the various races and genotypes living on earth and think that just maybe we are them? Lost in Space?
