Ostrich, deer, rabbit, dove, and fermented shark…I have had.
Bison burgers are yummy. Before ground bison meat was widely available in grocery stores, bison burger was my go-to fav menu selection at the Smithsonian.
I sat on the steps of a lodge ( don’t know which) at Yellowstone…eating chili in the snow.
I never considered it might be bison chili
Feeeling sorry for myself…..we pulled into the campground…everyone else was pulling out?
It was end of May and snowing hard……and stayed cold and snowy most of the week,
No internet, no TV, freezing cold in a clamper.
