For those unfamiliar with the TPP, it amounts to global commoditization of the workforce. US companies, if it is ratified, will be able to import unlimited number of workers and not have to hire American workers. As long as companies will provide a place, they only have to pay the wage of where those people are from.

A huge strike. Could be a deal-breaker for many conservatives. When the Trans Pacific Partnership was being discussed, one of the things talked about was relaxing (or even eliminating) country-of-origin labeling.
So that can of beans? Did it come from an American farm or a Vietnamese farm? You wouldn’t be able to tell.
I don’t know how much of this made it into the final agreement. But it’s worrisome that they’d even consider such a thing.
