If I were one such astronaut, I would refuse to do so on the grounds that the DEMAND to do so is both insulting and blasphemous. Quite simply put, you don’t have the authority do demand that they (hypothetically, I) swear by God to that effect.

If Lunar astronaut did comply with your demand would you believe him or accuse him of perjury? I suspect the latter, and if you claim you’d believe him, I wouldn’t believe you.
