A 20-year-old man was hit with a slew of charges Wednesday after crashing a stolen car into multiple vehicles and injuring 10 pedestrians during a chaotic police chase in Midtown Manhattan.
Kyle Fernandez is facing charges including reckless endangerment, possession of stolen property, operating a motor vehicle while on drugs, resisting arrest, and others in connection to Tuesday’s mayhem — which ended when good Samaritans tackled the fleeing driver to the ground and held him down until cops arrived.
The madness unfolded during the evening rush hour near the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 42nd Street, just steps away from Grand Central Terminal, after police tried to pull over a maroon Hyundai Tucson that had been reported stolen from the Bronx Monday.

At first I thought the perp was tall in the pic. Then I looked at all the pics and realized NYPD must have a bunch of short cops. I’m not exceptionally tall, but my head goes almost completely above almost all of the car types in the various pics.
Does anyone else agree?

1. It seems to me that Marijuana use with young folks does lead to young folks use of other drugs, because the whole experience is experimentation. 2. Rexcreational use of Marijuana in NY is now legal with legal and illegal “smoke shops” open all over and pervasive in some neighborhoods. 3. I expect to see more arrests for DWI in NY with young folks on drugs.

At least the driver was charged. When the complexion is darker the headline reads "SUV plows into pedestrians".
