I have used cheap piss beer to cut a heavy oatmeal stout or very Carmel notes beer. Like if you’re at a pub or restaurant and get a really gutsy craft beer that’s too overwhelming and cost you $6, I’ll buy a Miller Light to make it into two nice drinking beers. As for those nasty grapefruits IPA’s, I know not to get them in the first place. Good Bitish style pub ales have all but disappeared. Bass Ale. Speckled Hen.
