My wife and I live off social security. Our monthly cost of living is about a third of the amount we get every month. If they suddenly stopped depositing the payments, it would sting a little, but my take is this: If we live in a world where SS stops making payments, that will be the least of our problems.
If I were a foreign power that wanted to disrupt the US and destabilize the country I would look at disrupting the EBT system.

I stopped scrolling so I don’t know when the trickle started. Users reported that their purchases were declined and when they called, the system doesn’t recognize their number etc.
The biggest waste of taxpayer money in the U.S. and nobody GAS.
It’s a Beta test. They’ll stop the gravy train for real just before the 2024 election. What happens next won’t be confined to the inner cities.
