Many Americans were no doubt surprised Wednesday by reports that the FBI had shot and killed a Provo man who had posted threats against President Joe Biden and other Democratic elected and appointed officials on social media. The shooting appears to be the latest manifestation of just how deep and potentially dangerous the nation’s political divide has become to some Americans. Graphic and specific threats of violence are indeed disgusting and concerning. Such threats are not protected free speech, and federal agents cannot afford to take physical threats to the president or other officials lightly. However, the incident was a tragedy that left many questions unanswered, including why an alternative method of approach and arrest, rather than the early morning SWAT action, was not attempted for the 75-year-old suspect who, neighbors said, had limited mobility. Could he not be investigated and monitored further or arrested and detained when he was headed out away from his home arsenal?

Either “America’s premier law enforcement agency” is incompetent, or evil.
They knew there was no active assassination plot that day. They could have easily confirmed he was at home and going nowhere and probably not capable of going anywhere.
There are 50 ways they could have taking him into custody peacefully.
They opted for an assault with a full strength infantry equipped platoon of over 30 men in full war gear, a tank and they hit his place at 6am. They are either complete cowards, utterly unskilled, or jackbooted thugs.
J Edgar was no prize. But in his day two clean cut men in sport jackets and ties would have knocked in his door at a reasonable hour and dealt with it professionally.

When you’re dealing with beauracrats of limited intelligence they are hardwired by rigid policies that don’t allow them to think outside the box. When was the last time we heard reports of ANY action against the many left-wing nut jobs that threatened—or actually initiated—violence against a Republican?
Furthermore, the desire for certain personalities to “Play Army” makes it difficult to override with common sense.
To me, the sad part of this story is the deluded Ultra Maga victim’s failure to see the destructive (to him) path he was headed down. I absolutely despise the ENTIRE democrat party and its fascist membership, and I feel many of them are worthy of death—but by legal means.
