Fully EV cars (BEV’s) are less liable to catch on fire than ICE cars. However, a legitimate criticism is that once an EV catches on fire it’s harder to put out.

The way I understand it you CAN’T put out an EV fire, which is why the houses are a total loss as well.
Which makes me wonder, when an EV catches fire, destroys itself and burns down the house of the garage it was parked in, who do you call, your auto insurance carrier or your homeowners insurance carrier?.......either way, personally, I’d rather not find out first hand.
