A Long Beach woman arrested in a stabbing that took place during an anti-vaccine protest turned street fight outside of Los Angeles police headquarters in 2021 will receive probation under the terms of a plea deal reached last week, according to the district attorney's office.

Nina Cohen, 32, pleaded no contest to two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and will be placed on probation for two years if she completes a community service and anger management regimen over the next year, according to Venusse Navid, a spokeswoman for the district attorney's office.

Cohen was also ordered to stay away from the victim, who has not been publicly identified. The victim suffered a "lacerated heart and punctured lung," according to police and could be seen bleeding profusely in the street during the melee.

... footage captured a counterprotester, later identified as Cohen, swinging a knife at the anti-vaccination demonstrators.

Gads. She stabbed the anti-vax protester and left her with a lacerated heart and a punctured lung? And all she gets is an assault charge and this meaningless “sentence”?

First of all, it’s attempted murder.

But what’s justice matter when it’s all about politics?

Gotta love how they buried the fact that it was a COUNTER-protester who did the stabbing, adding that tidbit much further down in the article after prattling on about the violence of the anti-vax protesters.

1 more thing. Anyone but me recall just last week a leftist jury on Portland found 2 women innocent for assaulting Andy NGO—-when they had the attack on VIDEO?

I jokingly commented on FB I expect the West Coast to make assaulting Conservatives legal.

...anger management regimen over the next year...

Think that'll work? Will she pipe down after that?

So it was not an anti-vax melee. It was a peaceful protester attacked by a leftist pro-vaxxer.

It is California. The person who was stabbed is lucky they weren’t charged with violating the civil rights of the person with the knife by getting in her way.
