Monkey. That reminds me of a Joe Biden story. Years ago when Biden was traveling home from DC on Amtrak there was a big ruckus. Apparently, one rider was making racist comments aimed at a black woman traveling with her child. What was said was highly disturbing and the black woman started yelling and screaming. That disturbed Joe Biden peaceful trip and he decided to intervene. Biden quickly found his favorite conductor and approached the passengers making all the noise. Biden stood strong, backed up by the conductor and separated the two passengers that by that time were close to blows. Finally, everything settled down. Biden then thought, this black woman is a potential voter and I need to secure her vote for life. So Biden turns to the conductor and said, “how about getting this fine young woman a free meal for everything she’s been through?” The conductor said “sure, anything else?” Biden replied, “Yeah, get a banana for her monkey, too.”
