Bannon just said there was breaking news on Scalise's health and that whatever the issue, it was critical and he Bannon) was sending his prayers.

I cannot find anything in the news regarding this so if someone has news, please share.

“very treatable” is an overstatement

Very treatable, but untreatable.
I had friend with it. Lived on regular chemo all the rest of her life.

It is not really treatable, but it can be put under control and one can live with it for long. But it causes a lot of suffering.

Let us pray for Steve!

In his mid 50s, he's young for such a diagnosis.

What a helluva thing! Survive an assassination attempt and end up with this. There are treatments but it's non curable.

I have had three friends die from MM.

It is a rare disease but the chances of beating it are extremely slim.

The time frame is about three years, from diagnosis, until the patient dies.

My understanding is that one will never “heal” from MM, but with treatments, one could live and function well with MM for quite a while.
