A man was almost shot in the face after another person holding a gun swung a punch at him during a brawl outside a West Virginia University frat house.
The tense ordeal was caught on camera outside what is believed to be an off-campus property housing Lambda Chi Alpha students on Beverly Avenue.
One of the people standing near the person filming the terrifying incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, can be heard shouting: 'Not with the gun! Not with the gun!'
Another person watching the situation unfold shouts: 'Dude, dude, come on, it's not worth it.'
Shouting in the direction of the three people involved in the altercation, another person says: 'Why you got a gun right now, yo.'
The man, holding the gun in his right hand, then squares up and tells the person he's fighting with: 'I'm going to **** y'all up.'
He then uppercuts his opponent with his fist, but in the midst he also lets off a single gunshot which sparks into the air.
According to the video, it seems as if the bullet is just inches away from the man's face. It's unclear if it was fired intentionally or not during the fight.
Immediately, the bystanders watching from the adjacent porch shout 'get down' as they duck and hide - not knowing if more gunfire is on its way.
People scream in the background 'what the ****' and 'call the cops' repeatedly.
Turning back to the scene with the three individuals on the grass, the gunman is seen hovering over the man he shot at on the ground and hammers punches at him.

We should have picked our own damned cotton.
L
People going crazy there since they said they were getting rid of foreign language departments.
A question ending in “yo” says everything…
You know the Amish guy with the gun won’t be accused of anything. It’s the pesky frat playing country music that’s the problem.
Along with inventing the Cotton gin, Ely Whitney should have invented a machine that picked cotton as well
I am sure these lads are on the Dean’s List.
Isn’t this THE Lambda House?
I looked.
I didn’t need to...................
Yep...me too...
Pretty sure I saw two of those youths sporting Phi Beta Kappa keys.
Wow, Rush Week has sure changed a lot in 50 years!
