It’s the second debate and the same patterns are emerging yet again. The RNC promised that it would be different this time. There would be no more leftist moderators hijacking Republican debates.
Fox News Media’s Stuart Varney and Dana Perino alongside UNIVISION’s Ilia Calderón will be the co-moderators of the second Republican debate, the networks announced on Wednesday.
Why in the world is Calderon there? Do Democrats allow conservative journalists to moderate their debates?
Ilia Calderon is a spiteful and hateful leftist who previously moderated a Democrat debate. She has tweeted attacks against Trump and DeSantis.
But primarily Calderon is an advocate for illegal aliens.
Here are some of the questions she asked Joe Biden during a previous interview.
Mr. President, you promised a check for the families that are in need of that financial help. When exactly are they going to receive the $1,400 check? And for undocumented immigrants that are not going to receive this relief, do you have any plans to help them?

And to help the undocumented immigrants, many of them essential workers that are not going to receive the relief. Do you have any plans for them?
You can expect her to promote illegal aliens during the debate.

How are these decisions made and who is making these decisions?
No, the Republicans should not have a biased hostile moderator at a debate. But who made that decision to allow this?
Is it because this debate is going to be on Fox , and then given that, does Fox choose the moderators?

NO moderators, just time keepers. Pick the 5 top polling topics (and no, climate and abortion are not top 6).
Give everyone on state 2 minutes to talk about the topic, at 15 seconds warn them, at 2 minutes mic is cut. NO other mics are on during this time thus there are NO interruptions. If you are called out, wait your turn, and respond during YOUR two minutes.
Thus everyone is treated fairly and there is no moderator bias.

Because the RNC and leaders like McConnell, Romney, and McCarthy hate the base voters. That is why they never live up to their campaign promises.

Actually, these debates don’t count for anything, except, if Ramaswamy holds true, he is putting forth MAGA ideas and is sort of a proxy for Trump.
That is a title that is earned repeatedly.
Because the GOP is the Stupid Party.
Trump is right to skip this farce.
The RNC never learns. It’s run by Mitt’s niece who dropped Romney from her name a couple of years ago to hide the association.
You’d think she’d be smarter since her uncle mitt was ambushed in a debate by a question about birth control that came out of no where.
I’m expecting a similar incident in this debate.
Probably the easiest decision he's had to make.
