“Do they actively look for material they can report to the FBI in return for finder’s fees?”
I’ve heard that’s true a few times. It could be an urban myth. Considering life in the 21st Century I’m inclined to believe it’s true.
Star and moon medallion okay for mussies?
👍
It’s possible. I was there a few years ago and these things have only gotten worse. They had several proprietary diagnostic USB Drives that you used and they guarded them closely and l didn’t know all of what they did. If l had been there longer l could have cloned them and see everything they had on them but l was new enough that they kept a close watch so l never got the chance
I think that is out of AP style sheet
Yeah and no Native Indigenous Americans?/sarc
That's called retaliation, and Enis Sujack is about to sore a big payday from WorstBuy.
#18 I returned a spectrum cable modem and the clerk tried to get me to buy their phone service.
A few decades ago I bought a calculator at Sears. The clerk tried to sell me a extended warranty for a $5 calculator....
LOL
You can bet those thumb drives are out there somewhere. I have always fixed and upgraded my own equipment and that of friends and relatives, but I have never worked in a shop doing it. Beside the snooping, it would be interesting to see what tools they use.
Yeah l had every intention of cloning them to see what all was in there but they really watched closely. You had to check them in and out. Because l was fairly new they never gave me an opportunity to copy ‘em. I wasn’t there all that long so l never got the chance. It just wasn’t for me it was too close to what l retired from and the other guys kinda resented having an “old guy” doing what they did.
