Popular gun safe manufacturer Liberty Safe has been struggling to respond to conservative backlash after it gave the FBI access to a customer’s safe as part of a probe into the customer’s participation in the Capitol riot.
Late Wednesday, the company announced that customers will have the option to erase data of their safe combinations and “take control of how their information is stored and protected.” Earlier in the day, Liberty Safe had explained that the FBI had produced a search warrant to the safe owned by Nathan Hughes, a 34-year-old Arkansas man charged with felony civil disorder in connection to the Jan. 6 riot.

Microsoft protected passwords of terrorists but the gun safe company won’t protect patriots.

Liberty Safe is currently owned by an investment company called Monomoy Capital Partners LP. Monomoy Capital Partners is a private equity firm with over $2.7 billion in committed capital.
Per Open Secrets, virtually all their political contributions were to Democrats.
They should have challenged the warrant.
LOL—about 10 years ago I wanted a Liberty safe but couldn’t afford it. So I got a Bighorn at 1/3 the price with the same ratings. I removed the digital keypad and replaced it with a “Sargent and Greenleaf” combination lock.
Liberty, you’re screwed now because leftists aren’t buying safes and you pissed off the people that do!

Per Twitter (X), Not only did they access his safe but the FBI also allegedly turned off his security cameras and held his girlfriend at gun point.
Well, they at least need to change their name since obviously nothing under their management vis “safe”
