Considering that Kosovo is part of Serbia, perhaps the headline should read “Serbia Prepares to Invade Serbia”.
I suspect that Serbia has figured out that the West is SPENT, hardware-wise, so now is the time to reclaim their renegade territory.

Looks like it is almost Time to resume bombing the murderous Serbs again. Maybe this time disarm or kill their entire military.

The USS Gerald Ford's carrier strike group is off the coast. If Serbia is dumb enough to attack the United States and her NATO allies, I don't think it'll go super well.

There are 4500 NATO troops in Kosovo and a US carrier strike group just chilling in the Adriatic. That may be what they're betting but it's a strange bet.

Fine, if we want to start a war in a Balkan country, then so be it.
US troops have been stationed in Kosovo for over 20 years. If the Serbs decide to attack, then that'll be their choice and there are obvious consequences.

I personally have no dog in this hunt. But a better question might be, why are American soldiers stationed in Kosovo in the first place? It’s ridiculous. Nothing that happens in Kosovo can affect the United States in the least.
This is a local problem, or at most an EU problem. Let them spend the money and take the risks.

I didn’t realize that Serbia INVITED them into their country. Must have missed that.
I'm not sure the US was right to intervene in Kosovo in the 1990s, but what happens in the Balkans is absolutely important to the US. A little over a 100 years ago we lost 320,000 casualties to a local Balkan squabble that escalated out control and repeating that would be bad.

Everyone knows that KFOR was at the barrel of a gun. As to American soldiers, they can decide for themselves if they want to be part of a bloodbath. The bottom line is that KOSOVO IS PART OF SERBIA and until the UN changes that, life will not be pretty there, for anyone.
