I say let them keep up with their shark jumping and they will lose all credibility.

No this is not due to climate change.

They released foreign mosquitos that were larger than the native species.

Genetically Modified Mosquitoes
Genetically modified (GM) mosquitoes
Aedes aegypti mosquitoes spread viruses including dengue, Zika, and chikungunya. Aedes mosquitoes are common throughout many areas of the United States.

Ae. aegypti mosquitoes can be genetically modified and used to control other Ae. aegypti mosquitoes in a community. In the United States, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has authorized use of OX5034 GM Ae. aegypti mosquitoes for release in counties in Florida and Texas. This EPA authorization allows local mosquito control programs to evaluate how effective GM mosquitoes are in reducing Ae. aegypti mosquitoes in areas where they have been released.

High school biology sixty years ago— mosquitoes were known world wide except for polar regions, some deserts and mountaintops. There is no way to increase their range beyond this point.

Giant mosquitoes? Bats eat mosquitoes.
The solution is simple. We’ve got to bioengineer giant bats!

I know what some people are thinking. Wouldn’t these giant bats be dangerous?
Maybe. But let’s concentrate on the giant mosquitoes for now. One problem at a time.

In the movies of the 50’s the atomic bomb was blamed for all the gigantic creatures that wrought destruction. Today it’s climate change.

“Mosquito-borne disease experts are concerned…”

Not I concerned enough to kill the damn things with DDT.

They should STFU and sit down.
