I have two dogs and a cat share with an ex, but I cannot keep a plant alive. My planticide aside, houseplants are all the rage with millennials, but why do millennials love plants? The history of houseplants might surprise you. Apparently, millennials are tending to plants to satisfying their need to nurture. And, while it might be the latest millennial obsession, immigrant communities have long grown plants for reasons entirely different reasons.

Millennials should stick to plants. When they form breeding pairs they should be spayed and neutered.

Just guessing but I suspect they have the same intellectual levels.
That annoys my inner curmudgeon.
Being able to keep plants healthy is a way to gauge how in tune you are with yourself and the world around you.
In other words, one can bitch and whine to your heart’s content, and plants won’t try to whine with you. And a flowering plant has more personality than just a pet rock. Of course, if someone is irresponsible enough to forget to water them, plants will wither and die off.
Lots of people of all generations of history like houseplants. What a silly story.
If someone can’t keep their plants not only alive but healthy and thriving then they need to figure out what they are overlooking, some people can dig into things and problem-solve, and some can’t.

Does it like more light or shade, water needs?, it’s not that hard.
