Advance ticket sales to the Taylor Swift concert film debuting in theaters globally next week have exceeded $100 million.
AMC Theaters Distribution and AMC Entertainment said today that milestone was reached as of Wednesday, Oct. 4, for “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.”
The film will debut on Oct. 13 in 8,500 theaters in 100 countries.
AMC said audience demand “has been incredible from the moment it was first announced.”
The film, AMC, said break its United States record “for highest single-day ticket sales” in its 103-year history.
“Advance ticket sales are strong across the United States, from the largest cities to the smallest towns, particularly in premium big-screen formats such as IMAX, Dolby Cinema, PRIME on AMC and other premium big-screen experiences.”
AMC’s sub-distribution partners are Variance Films in the United States, Cineplex in Canada, Cinepolis in Mexico and Central America, and Trafalgar Releasing outside North America.
They are still pursuing “agreements with additional theater operators around the world to represent this spectacular Taylor Swift tour-de-force,” AMC said.
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” will screen at least four showings per day on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at all AMC locations in the U.S. It will also screen at all ODEON theaters in Europe.

The film is 2 hours and 48 minutes and features Swift’s history-making Eras tour that featured music from each decade of her career.

Nothing is free. Somehow the obnoxious Taylor Swift “product placement” involves the transfer of large amounts of money to the NFL and/or the network showing the game. I also surmise her “relationship” with Travis Kelce is a fake marketing scheme — with his receiving a large payment to play along.
Maybe the NFL is making money from having more teenage girls watching the Taylor game of the week in hopes of catching a glimpse of her in the luxury suite, thus increasing ratings and ad rates. Similarly, ticket brokers are making bigger commissions from inflated resale prices. I saw that the KC at NYJ tickets went up about $100 when it was rumored she would attend the game.

Taylor Swift also just launched a world tour, and after she travels the world this year, she’s coming back to the US right before the US elections for what looks to be her version of an October surprise.
She spending 3 days in Miami, FL in the last week of October 2024 where she will likely make a big push to get people to the polls. Florida is the largest swing state in the nation and also happens to be where @RonDeSantis signed a six week abortion ban.
The Eras global tour that Taylor Swift is currently on is supposed to be a tour featuring *all* of her albums. However, she has lamented in the past that Alex Soros and George Soros bought the rights to her music and her first 6 Albums when @scooterbraun sold it to a private equity firm tied to the Soros family for $300 MILLION.
Do you think that in their efforts to beat Donald Trump in 2024 and destroy America that @georgesoros @AlexanderSoros would have made a deal with Taylor Swift to help give her back the rights to all of her albums as long as she helps get Democrats elected in 2024?

im not quite sure how this happened either...its not like shes some new “ artist”, shes been around for years. While some of her records have sold well, shes never been a “mega-seller”. For some reason, this tour was announced and sales went thru the roof....odd.
