Taylor Swift is mostly worshipped by young girls and their mothers. Some of her music is listenable but yes, a lot of vapid inanities. Early in her career, she appeared to be fairly conservative and even a Trump supporter but her handlers evidently convinced her that being completely woke and stridently anti-Trump would help her career and indeed she her career has exploded, making her the top pop star in the world.
She used to be country but not anymore. If you want real modern country, listen to acts such as Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Ashley Cooke, Lainey Wilson, and Oliver Anthony.
