Guess I’m guilty…..on a number of occasions I told the kids of a negative consequence that would come their way if they didn’t listen to me.
Looking in that list I am guilty of a number of offenses. I think all parents that I know are guilty of something on that list.
I didn’t read the article. I wonder if “negative predictions” isn’t “Don’t touch the stove because you’ll burn yourself” but is more “You never listen! You’ll grow up just like your cousin - getting into trouble and end up in prison.”
