Right...in our remodel NOTHING is hooked to Internet...that I am aware of anyway.
>However, free VPNs are rarely safe. They don’t offer online security or privacy but sell users’ data to maintain their services.
Remember, if something is free, YOU are the product!
Thanks for the link to 12ft.io! I never heard of that before. Just last week I was searching for a way around the NYT paywall and installed “Bypass Paywalls Clean” into Chrome. It’s on Github. But I’ll start trying 12ft!
Plus, when the ruling communists get their hands on my FR commentary, they will have to start their search for me in Japan, Malaysia, Brazil, Estonia, Hong Kong, or India...😎🙄
Of course, FR's support-payment records will zero out the search...
Do you have any evidence that Proton Free VPN collects and/or sells user data? If so kindly please forward.
Do your own homework and don’t be lazy when you sign up for a “free” service. How do you think they make money anyway?
I have an ongoing issue with facebook. Every time I use a different server on NORDVPN I get bounced by facebook. I have to go through a complicated “identify” process that often times does not work. To compensate I dump all my histories before I log into fb and dump them again before I log out. This is a lot of work, but it is my passive aggressive way of messing with “the man”. I would be interested in any feedback from those who know.
I was using a VPN for years, but they raised their prices. I switched, and like the new one better and saved a fair bit of money. Have to do this during Bidenomics time....
