I was thinking of preparing a matrix to show the possibilities not knowing the races of the suspects/victims. Something like this:

Race Victim/Suspect

Robber Black N/A
Employee Black N/A
Disposition No harm no foul. Search for white blame
somewhere

Robber Black Victim (systemic racism, etc)
Employee White Suspect(white priviledge)
Disposition Whitey going down

Robber White Suspect (racist)
Employee Black Victim (hero)
Disposition Whitey going down

You know.......that type of thing.
