At least, if true, they both shut up about it....I’m not interested in other people’s sex life.

In 1980, just six years after he was forced from office, a classmate at my grad school from Mexico was sitting with a bunch of us Americans. When someone mentioned Nixon she loudly said “Oh, he was the best president you ever had.” The group went silent, mouths dropped open. I smiled.
In July of 1980 the very liberal Maine Times, a weekly newspaper in Maine published my letter where I stated that Nixon would eventually be seen as a truly great president. I kept a copy on the wall of my (NY city) dorm room all through college, but later lost it.

A regular “Don Juan” he was not!

“Fart checkers” sounds like something you’d find at the local junior high.

Did better than Bill Clinton did. Bill Clinton had an affair with Elizabeth Hurley. I'll give him props for that.
At the time, I was crushed at the thought that pig was ever on top of her.

Agree totally! However, in the present day, the poor woman has been ravaged by the effects of multiple sclerosis and the medicine she has to take for it. She wrote a book about her struggle with the disease and has remained stoic.

I think she was controversial because she was married a few times. Things were different back then.Wasn't Zsa Zsa reported to be a total _itch, disliked by everyone, and impossible to get along with in complete contrast to her sister, Eva who reportedly was a sweetheart who treated everyone with kindness and respect?

I checked. She had nine husbands. So, she got along with nine guys for a little while. Perhaps it was both characteristics.

And of course who could forget her performance in Young Frankenstein. Dr. Frankenstein: What knockers!
Inga: Oh, thank you, doctor.

Considering Nixon being President during NASA's great moon explorations and Zsa Zsa was

Ms. Leigh was an unreliable muckraker, much like Kitty Kelly, who wrote about Nancy Reagan. Gabor was controversial because she got married to more men than most women ever even dated, but she seemed curiously like the gal next door even with all the glamour, sort of like Dolly Parton.
