i dont know where you guys get this crazy stuff....just shows, you can spin anything into a conspiracy if you try hard enough...
Years ago I read the book “Silent Coup” by Len Colondy.
A website based on the book and run by the author is:
Haig was spying on Kissinger and Nixon. The military wing didn’t like what the State Department was doing. Woodward iirc had been under Haig’s command when he was a radio operator.
I don’t recall Haig being involved in the break-in (orchestrated by John Dean), but he did use it to his advantage. The book came to the conclusion that Haig was possibly “Deep Throat”, or was part of a small group of insiders that fed information to Woodward, and Woodward combined them into one character.
I think there was something in the book about how Haig had mentioned that he would be in control if anything happened to Nixon, or some sort of position of power that was way above his head and not constitutional. And then Haig did the same thing when Reagan was shot and in the hospital.
The book had a very lengthy and detailed footnotes with longer interviews, etc.
A lot of swill coming out "NOW", claiming other stuff is only for fools to believe!
I was an adult when all of this history went down and have met/known some who were part of the whole "GET NIXON"...on both sides.So I'm NOT taking "new revelations" as "FACTS"!
I would be WAY more interested in hearing about when Nixon showed Jackie Gleason a bunch of alien bodies.

The shocking thing is:
Nixon could have had a “STEAMY ANYTHING” when he gave the appearance of an automaton, a robot, even though I never thought of him as a warm person, it could have happened, which makes me kinda like him a little.
“He was the first president I ever voted for. And years later was fortunate enough to tell him that in person. He was better than anyone we’ve had since, two possible exceptions.”
I worked with a Chinese guy who loved Nixon. I couldn’t believe it. He explained his family was given a real rough time in the Cultural Revolution and Nixon helped them emigrate.

They looked a lot alike though.
