Israeli forces have managed to cut Gaza in two as reports of the IDF reaching the shores of Gaza near the town of Al Zahra are beginning to be announced. Israeli forces are still engaged in heavy fighting in Beit Hanoun and are slowly advancing down the Zikim Beach. US forces have been attacked 3 times over the last day, with another US response to the attacks on the horizon.
Meanwhile Wagner has miraculously returned to recruiting soldiers inside of Russia, now led by Prigozhin’s son. Russian forces have taken heavy losses at Avdiivka again, and not made any ground. Ukrainian forces in Kherson are still holding the newly taken left bank.

I wish good health to all Ukrainians, both men and women!
First and foremost, gratitude to our sky defenders – the soldiers of mobile fire groups, Ukrainian pilots, and soldiers of anti-aircraft missile units, all units that destroy Russian aircraft, missiles, and drones... Last night, 18 Shahed drones and one guided air missile were shot down. Unfortunately, there are several hits. But most of the enemy targets have been destroyed. Including in Poltava region, Chernihiv region, Sumy region, Vinnytsia region, and Khmelnytsky region, in other regions of our country. I thank our soldiers for this. We all need to remember clearly: every such downing means saving lives and infrastructure. And I ask all Ukrainians to pay attention to air raid alerts and to understand that, even though we are strengthening our air defense as much as possible, the danger is still significant. Especially in cities like Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson. In the cities and villages of Kherson region, Donetsk region. In Chernihiv, Sumy regions. It’s important to be cautious and not take the danger lightly.
Today, I held several important meetings and, as always, a video conference: with the military, intelligence, government officials, and those responsible for the situation in the regions. I also had a meeting with our team that represented Ukraine at the advisors’ meeting on the Peace Formula. We discussed the main details and outcomes of this summit. We are not revealing at the moment some things, which are very beneficial for Ukraine and international law in general. The reason is clear: we don’t want to give Russia a chance to undermine our international efforts. But I can say that this, the third advisors’ meeting, was even stronger than the two held before it. It continued to consolidate the world. There is a joint statement of the co-chairs of the advisors’ meeting in Malta. And there are many signals from representatives of states, including the Global South and our partners in Europe and in the United States, confirming the correctness of our course to unite the world around the Peace Formula, so that the principles of a just peace and the full restoration of international law become a common plan for the world’s majority. Today, during the meeting, we identified the main steps we will take in the coming months to add new substance to the Peace Formula.
Another very important thing. Today’s date has a special geopolitical and values-based meaning. This day, November 1, is practically celebrated as the birth of the European Union. Thirty years ago, the Maastricht Treaty came into force, laying the foundations for modern European unity. There was a lot of resistance to Europe to be united, a lot of doubt about a united Europe. And even today, anti-European policies are quite vocal in various countries, including those where European optimism is critically important for maintaining peace and normalcy in Europe and the world. However, the European Union has proven time and again that it can overcome crises, defend itself, preserve its valuable leadership in the world, and become stronger when Europe’s enemies expect only weakness.
We value our Europe, the Europe of cooperation, not confrontation, the Europe of people, not ideologies, because only in this way can our continent protect and defend human lives both in European countries and in the world. I am confident that Ukraine will make our Europe stronger than ever, and we are working actively to remove any obstacles to our accession to the European Union. I am also confident that no matter how events unfold in the world, among our partners in the United States and elsewhere, unity will prevail. Unity, not division. Unity, not calls for isolation.
I thank everyone for their support for Ukraine, for our joint efforts to defend our European values. I also thank everyone in the world who helps to preserve unity, from Washington to every capital where people value human lives.

A column of armored fighting vehicles of the invading Russian army, which attacked in the direction of the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, encountered resistance from the 14th brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces.
1 tank and 2 infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed together with their crew members as a result of successive artillery strikes on the column consisting of tanks and armored infantry fighting vehicles. 3 tanks and 4 infantry fighting vehicles were damaged. Combat vehicles trying to return were also hit and damaged. Foot soldiers also tried to escape by getting off the armored combat vehicles.

Day 616 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.
The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, and attacks both military and civilian targets.
During the day of November 1, there were 43x combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 4x missile and 59x air strikes, 36x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Moreover, the russian occupiers launched another missile and air strike against Ukraine, using 3x Kh-59 guided missiles and 20x Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed 3x missiles and 18x attack UAVs. Unfortunately, the attacks have wounded civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.
The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
VOLYN and POLISSYA AXIS: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.
SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXIS: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. More than 10x settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Chuikivka, Holyshivske, Pavlivka, Stepok, Vysoke (Sumy oblast), Borysivka, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, Stroivka (Kharkiv oblast).
KUPYANSK AXIS: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the vicinities of Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast), as well as Stelmakhivka (Luhansk oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled 8x attacks in the area. The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Petropavlivka, Kupyansk, Kurylivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Cherneshchyna (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at various settlements, including Dvorichna, Masyutivka, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).
LYMAN AXIS: the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) operations. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Serebryanske forestry, Vyimka, Spirne and Vesele (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Serebryanka, Spirne, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).
BAKHMUT AXIS: the enemy made 10x unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground near Klishchiivka and Andriivka (Donetsk oblast). At the same time the invaders conducted assault actions near Pivdenne (Donetsk oblast), to no success. The occupiers launched an air strike near Ivanivske (Donetsk oblast). More than 15x settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Klishchiivka, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, Shcherbynivka (Donetsk oblast).
AVDIIVKA AXIS vdiivka axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the vicinities of Sjeverne and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast), where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5x attacks. Also, the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Semenivka, Orlivka, Lastochkyne and Avdiivka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at about 15x settlements, including Oleksandropil, Keramik, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).
MARYINKA AXIS: the adversary conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the vicinity of Maryinka (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled 16x attacks in that area. Also, the adversary launched an air strike near Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). Around 10x settlements of Donetsk oblast, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka, were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.
SHAKHTARSKE AXIS: the adversary conducted assault operations in the vicinity of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), to no success. Around 10x settlements, including Vodyane, Bohoyavlenka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: the adversary did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions. The occupiers launched air strikes near Novoselivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 20x settlements, including Poltavka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Orikhiv, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
KHERSON AXIS: the occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Beryslav, Lvove (Kherson oblast). The settlements of Tomaryne, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Mylove (Kherson oblast), Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast), and Hrushivka (Dnipropetrovsk oblast) suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on Melitopol axis and offensive (assault) operations on Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.
During the day of November 1, Ukrainian Air Force launched 9x air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, and 3x air strike on the anti-aircraft missile systems of the adversary.
The Ukrainian missile troops hit 5x radar stations, 2x command posts, 3x air defense systems and 11x artillery systems of the russian invaders.

President holds meeting to discuss results of third national security advisors’ meeting on Peace Formula implementation

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting to discuss the outcomes of the third meeting of national security and foreign policy advisors regarding the implementation of the Peace Formula, which took place on October 28-29 in Malta.
The Head of the President’s Office, who led the Ukrainian delegation at the meeting in Malta, Andriy Yermak, informed the Head of State that representatives from 66 countries and international organizations from all continents participated in the meeting. This is 24 more delegations than the previous meeting in Jeddah.
Andriy Yermak said that representatives of partner countries and the Ukrainian delegation together presented specific steps for the implementation of the five points of the Peace Formula. These action plans were developed by working groups composed of ambassadors accredited in Ukraine and representatives of the Ukrainian government.
Members of the Ukrainian delegation emphasized the importance of uniting countries around the implementation of the Peace Formula, especially during a difficult time of escalating conflicts in various regions of the world, particularly in the Middle East.
The President stressed that even during challenging times of escalation in different parts of the world, the number of participants in the advisors’ meetings has increased, and they are ready to unite around Ukraine’s proposals for ending the war and achieving a just and sustainable peace.
“It is important that through the discussion of the Peace Formula points, we can attract the necessary attention of the world’s countries to Ukraine, especially in the conditions of escalation in the Middle East,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The Prime Minister of Malta, the President of Finland, the President of South Africa, the Prime Minister of Japan, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, the Secretary of State of the Holy See, and the Grand Chancellor of the Sovereign Order of Malta addressed the participants of the meeting in Malta, in addition to the Head of the Ukrainian state.
Members of the delegation underscored the importance of adopting a joint statement (Malta and Ukraine) on the key principles of peace in Ukraine as a result of the meeting.
Andriy Yermak said that in Malta, the next steps for implementing the Formula (continuation of work at the ambassadorial level, upcoming events involving national security advisors), and preparation for the Global Peace Summit at the leader level were discussed.
Furthermore, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was informed that in Malta, there were over 20 bilateral meetings with national security advisors of partner countries’ leaders. The purpose of these meetings was to coordinate the participation of states in implementing different points of the Peace Formula, supporting Ukraine, and coordinating joint actions in several areas.
Members of the Ukrainian delegation to the meeting in Malta also took part in the meeting with the President. It included Andriy Yermak, as well as First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko, Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mykola Tochytsky, Deputy Heads of the Office of the President Andriy Sybiha and Ihor Zhovkva, MP Halyna Mykhailiuk, advisors to the head of the Office of the President Daria Zarivna and Oleksandr Bevz.
