Except they weren’t really “climate change protesters”.....they were “copper mine lease renewal protestors”...from the posted story:

“The protesters have for three weeks been campaigning against the Panamanian government’s agreement with a Canadian firm to run Central America’s biggest open-pit copper mine for at least another 20 years. The mine is in an environmentally sensitive area.”

So you could say (loosely) that they were anti-EV/anti-solar/anti-wind turbine protestors (all large users of copper/copper wire).

I failed. As critical as I am of headlines I did not read this story and I stand corrected. I appreciate you bringing that to may attention. I certainly view this shooting differently.
