There is an old adage in Italian-American neighborhoods. “When you hit someone, it could be the last conscious act of your life.” It would seem that some people take infringements on their liberty in the same manner.

They would not have been there in the first place if there was a law making it a felony for anyone to purposely block or stop traffic for any protest cause with mandatory 7 year jail sentence, no plea and sentence reduction permitted. A few of those convictions will keep these jerks off the roadway

One thing I have learned by watching several times. When someone points a gun at you, don’t tell them “go ahead”, or “you don’t have the guts”, don’t throw you hands out to the side, stick your chest out and say “I dare you”.

It finally happened. Not one but TWO useful idiots each, literally took a bullet for the team. Litter the “crime” scene with flowers, heart shaped balloons and teddy bears. Send a rent-a-mob down there to do the candlelight vigil thing, 100 or so people singing This Little Light of Mine as they schlep around like extras from the Walking Dead. Let’s see if they become the Medgar Evers and Dr. MLK of the tree huggers. Oh, yeah, almost forgot. Call for a serious global discussion on ways to deal with man made climate change.

Yes, it did take longer than anyone expected. Thought they’d have driven through a long time ago, too. Shooting them was wrong but they are playing stupid games.
This reminds me of the story of the old Amish farmer who caught a burglar stealing the Family’s meager posesions and said .. “Friend, I would do thee no harm for the world, but thou standith just where I am about to shoot!”
