College football is professional now. It is not students who play football. It is professional players who are given scholarships to “pretend” they are students.
Sad but true.
Gone are the days when college football was completely different than the NFL. You would see teams running the Wishbone and all other different kinds of formations.
Now every team looks the same.
They’re still maturing young men though, most of whom are not experienced with any kind of real money, and could still really use the time on campus to develop themselves personally and hopefully intellectually. This Guy is not looking forward to the future flood of money into high-level college football and basketball.
