The much berated ABBA, and yes even I berated them back in the day, but 300 years from now, I think their songs will be playing in a jukebox in a somewhere dive bar.

I agree with DallasBiff 100%. If we all listened to ABBA all day there would be no war, divorce, etc. We’d all be happy, all of the time!!

I usually enjoy these trips down memory lane. utube has decided that I ain’t welcome with my adblocker even when I gave in and shut it off to view a how to vid, they still won’t let me view their site. I filed a ‘report’ 10 or so days ago and they have yet to respond. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a reasonable work around. FWIW, I also have an active account with them and that matters not.

I always liked ABBA. Once on the radio the deejay was sneering at them. I assumed he was gay.
The girls were so elegant, beautiful, and talented, as opposed to the skanks we have today.

When I was in college, my best friend and room mate really liked disco (It is where you meet the chicks). I liked heavy metal. The only disco music I liked was ABBA, so it got played a lot.

Still love Fernando, Chicatita, Eagle. Take a Chance On Me is catchy, but doesn't have the stories the first 3 have.
If you've never listened to Eagle, you're missing out on a haunting story they did. Listen to it a couple times and you'll get the fantasy the guys wrote and the girls sang to perfection.
