The organizers of a petition against having trans/non-binary performers in the Thanksgiving Day Parade say it is 'quickly picking up momentum' and want to hammer the message home with a boycott of the sponsor, Macy's.
As of Wednesday morning, more than 29,000 people had inked the petition against the 'non-binary and transgender extravaganza' in the parade of floats and balloons, which will wow New York City on November 23.
Macy's has not commented directly on the campaign, which takes aim at the appearance of trans/non-binary Broadway performers Justin David Sullivan and Alex Newell, among the parade's cast of thousands.
Supporters of the campaign say they're tired of liberal corporations flaunting a 'woke' agenda in their faces. Trans rights groups bemoan another conservative outfit 'throwing a fit' to rally people against LGBTQ+ rights.
Speaking exclusively with DailyMail.com, Monica Cole, director of One Million Moms, said her campaign is 'picking up traction' and urged consumers to go one step further by refusing to spend money at Macy's.
Conservatives have signed urging Macy's to no longer push the LGBTQ agenda in the name of entertainment,' Cole said in a statement.
'By including non-binary performers, potentially exposing millions of viewers to this liberal nonsense, Macy's is leaving conservative families with no other choice than to not watch this parade and no longer patronize their stores either.

We’ll find out if moms are willing to make the boycott stick like the people did with Bud Light.
Bud Light has never recovered.
Have never been in one and probably never will.
We used to shop in Macy’s on occasion, but most times you could find the same items for less at Emporium, Mervyn’s, etc. Despite those retail stores having closed many years ago, we have not returned to Macy’s.
Boycott Macy’s stores?
Done!
this massive box store chain of low-quality products, low margins and high overhead has got to be nearing its expiration date. what a dead model!
I didn’t think there were any Macy’s stores to boycott.
The boycott is just what the swine that are trying to kill Macy’s want. But alas it has to be done
Let it be a lesson to other boards to be careful of who gets control of them.
Yeah, I know why, but it is a rhetorical question.
Not covered elsewhere.
Is the best American news site British?
Macy’s has to balance great ESG scores against the possibility of becoming another Target. But it’s New York - I’m guessing we’ll see the twerking tranny floats.
Yet another woke company engaged in some reprehensible act that I can’t boycott. I think I went to a Macy’s once in my life. Probably looking for the bathroom.
End Gender Denial.
I’m thinking water balloons filled with Ritz dye in primary (rainbow) colors.
Finally, a boycott that could actually work.
The managers of all current-day major retailers get daily (or even hourly) updates of financial forecasts.
Thing is, if you want cultural victory, it isn’t merely enough to slay the dragon and its celebration (in this case, Macy’s and the parade). Both must be replaced with non-woke, or specifically anti-woke, alternatives to fill the vacuum.
Kmart and J.C. Penny made me mad and I wrecked both of those companies.
Macy’s is practically dead as it is. This might do it.
