It is a vector in jurisdictions that vote by touch panel with no paper ballot.

Those that use scanned paper ballots always have the paper for a manual recount, which is why I am so against touch panel voting.

And for some reason my second zero didn't show up in 2020...

Precisely.

Little known fact: There were about 3-1/2 decades during which the Republican Party couldn’t contest election fraud due to a consent decree. Amazing, but it is true. This only ended in 2018.

During that time I believe the Dems brought voter fraud to a high level of effectiveness, and contesting dirty elections atrophied among Republicans.

It will take a long time to fix the problems this created.
