My often-published professor at the University of Alabama, Forrest McDonald, put it this way:
“...the caliber of people who have served as chief executive has declined erratically but persistently from the day George Washington left office...”
Washington was a wise man and as Robert Frost was fond of pointing out, one of the few men, who could walk away from power in perfect health and amid supreme popularity. One thing we can be thankful for is that our nation was founded by such a man.
Friends,
PRAYING THAT A FORGIVING GOD WILL SEE FIT TO ALLOW US AT LEAST ANOTHER 365 DAYS TO REDEEM OURSELVES FOR IGNORING HIM AND HIS SACRED LAW AND THE FOUNDERS’ PRAYERFUL INTERPRETATION OF IT IN OUR CONSTITUTION.
PEACE!
