After two years of war, the trained, professional military of Ukraine has been decimated. The average age of today’s soldier is 42. Ukraine is now talking general mobilization of up to age 70 and women.

7 to 10 million Ukrainians are refugees abroad. Many young men have fled the country. The economy is in shambles. US/NATO are paying the salaries of the entire Ukrainian government including pensions. Zelensky estimates that they will need $800 billion to rebuild the country, which was one of the poorest and most corrupt countries before the second Russian invasion in 2022. This war has been going on since 2014.

Support for this war is declining precipitously in Europe and the US. And the Biden regime is seeking an exit before the 2024 election. Everyone knows that Ukraine lacks the ability to retake Crimea and most of the Donbas. The dream of NATO membership is dead.

This war could have been avoided. The same team that engineered the overthrow of the duly elected government of Ukraine in 2014 spawning the separatist movement in the Donbas and triggering the first unopposed Russian invasion that led to the annexation of Crimea are back running this debacle. How can anyone trust a compromised Biden and his fools and knaves like Blinken, Nuland, Sullivan, Powers, and Austin to make the right decisions on Ukraine? Anyone remember the exit from Afghanistan?

The US is broke. We have $2 trillion budget deficits and annual debt servicing costs of a trillion dollars, which is larger than DOD’s budget. Debt servicing costs now consume 40% of the annual revenue collected thru income taxes. We can’t afford these endless wars that don’t involve the strategic national interests of the US.

In the meantime over 8 million illegal aliens have poured thru our southern border since Biden was elected with no end in sight. They represent the real threat to American National security. 100,000 Americans are dying from drugs annually. Our cities are being overrun by criminals. Yet we spend close to $200 billion to defend the sovereignty of Ukraine in a war that has been ongoing for almost a decade. Where is the concern for our citizens? Who is really profiting from this war? If we really cared about the Ukrainian people, we would end this proxy war.
