Apple probably had some sanity when they edited it out.

Once again, DeNiro comes off as an obsessive, as a Trump hating buffoon. Donald Trump’s mojo strikes him again!
Robert De Screwball
Does anyone these days actually think De Niro has an opinion worth repeating.
HA-Ha! Tripping over one’s own feet.
Nobody wanted to hear all that poisonous hate from DeNiro.
This was an awards ceremony, and for many people, not just for him.
If you haven’t seen the movie, (spoiler alert) white people bad, Indians good. I saved you 3 1/2 hours, you’re welcome.
Out of his element: Robert De Niro, 80, flubbed his lines and looked confused after part of his anti-Trump speech was allegedly edited out (by Apple) without his knowledge at the 2023 Gotham Awards on Monday
DeNiro is mentally ill
Once again actors prove they’re only as smart as the lines written by others for them
Trump would not need a teleprompter to state what he thinks about De Niro. He wouldn’t need but a few sentences either.
The networks may have no love for Trump but in such a program they do have to consider other speakers. De Niro thinks the world revolves around him and his political thoughts.
Tried to watch his speech but it bored me. This guy needs to speak only when he’s in a movie. Otherwise, he’s a bore.
Angry, bitter & vile; fake tough guy who just lost a harassment case; should shut his trap.
There’s a time & a place for everything, but an awards show isn’t the time for bashing or politics. DeNiro seems to have entered his old man screaming at clouds stage of life.
This “car salesman” needs to start raising tomatoes.(Godfather hint)

Don’t know why bobby just doesn’t admit that he is jealous of Trump!
“shut up and act!!”
love the acting, despise the man.
For those who have never heard of the organization like me who was in NYC for the first 20 years of this org’s existence.
The Gotham Film & Media Institute (also simply the Gotham), formerly known as the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to independent film. It offers programs that assist independent filmmakers in connecting with film-industry professionals and, ultimately, audiences, and presents the annual Gotham Awards.
Formerly called Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP)
It was founded in 1979 by independent filmmakers as the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP). Under the IFP umbrella, the New York City organization has over 5,000 members. Affiliated regional organizations are based in Chicago, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Phoenix, and Seattle. Since March 2019, Jeffrey Sharp has been the executive director of the organization.
In January 2021, the IFP announced its rebranding as the Gotham Film & Media Institute.
This year, the organization has removed the budget cap requirements which they claim will create “a more inclusive submission pool” of potential nominees. In previous years, to be eligible for the Gothams, a film’s budget couldn’t exceed $35 million. “We’re excited to include more voices from around the globe by expanding eligibility for the many brilliant international films and filmmakers who deserve to be in consideration this year,” said Jeffrey Sharp, executive director of the Gotham Film & Media Institute. “Additionally, with shifting budgets, we’ve decided to eliminate arbitrary budget caps for submission eligibility – first instituted over a decade ago – to broaden our reach in terms of recognition and accessibility to the wider community,” he concluded.
The films Air, Barbie, Ferrari, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, and Rustin all received tribute awards.
Apparently, the producers of these movies fund IFP and want their recognition.
How did Barbie qualify for any award at any awards show?
Dance little monkey. Dance!
