I wonder how many Kia owners know what “KIA” means in a military context?

A software upgrade addresses this.

Criminals started taking a hacksaw to the steering wheels, rendering the club useless. Especially with battery powered tools. Same reason catalytic converter thefts became more common.
The problem isn’t Kia. The old style key technology has been in use for over 100 years. The problem is liberals not locking up criminals as they know they won’t be punished.

Solution: Don’t live where the car stealers live. We have Kia’s everywhere and they don’t get stolen

Chevy “Nova” didn’t sell in latin America. “Nova” means “no go” in spanish.

Your going to get the same time if you steal a KIA or a Rolls Royce.

“Nova . . .”
However “Avon”, its reverse anagram sells well, I bet.

A couple of years ago when the “TikTok Kia boyz” was getting started (in St. Louis??) I rigged up my Hyundai with two kill switches to keep it from being started. Added a “Club” as a visual deterrent to hopefully avoid the broken window and torn-up ignition.
I still need to get it in to fix the security problem, and I think there is an air-bag recall on it too. Last I checked it was a 6-week wait for an appointment at the dealer.
