Early ev adopters fall into 3 categories:

1. Virtue signalling Greensters with too much money
2. Nerdy beany-copter heads with too much money
3. Suburbanites with too much money and a paid for an at home 50amp charging station

No one buys an EV to actually DRIVE IT - they buy it to have something to talk about at social gatherings and to hold their noses up at others. Whether the EV is actually driveable makes no difference to them, as they always have alternate cars.

What makes the above obvious is that the small portion of the country that ‘needs’ and EV for the above reasons now has theirs, and thus very few normal people are now buying them.
