Another cowardly non-answer. In fact, I can’t think of a worse response to a line of questioning that could’ve resulted in a home run answer.
DeSantis absolutely refuses to condemn DOJ’s ongoing prosecution of both Trump and J6ers. He cannot even bring himself to say January 6 and instead pulls out the well-worn “parents at school boards.”
Further, he accepts Welker’s premise about how Trump would use his power and doesn’t openly laugh in her face about the vermin-Nazi connection or immediately pivot to specific instances of Biden doing exactly what the Left now claims Trump will do.
“Retribution for himself?” Wtf does that even mean? And you can tell towards the end he has no intention of dismantling DOJ. If elected—and he won’t be—DeSantis would go the route of “we’re better than this.”
No wonder people are fleeing this sinking ship of a campaign and candidate.

I didn’t understand an iota of this excerpt.
All I know is that PDJT was the most powerful man in the World and he selected a cabinet full of traitors and he abdicated our administration over to insidious deep state hysterics (Pence, Fauci and Birx) and he signed and funded the very fraud that stole the elction from us with the CARES act. He spun up the January 6thers and then left them to their inquisition fate. He is, at best, a shnook.

DeSantis did great. He has nothing to do with Trump and his never ending tedious soap operas. DeSantis didn’t take the bait when the media stooge kept attempting to goad him about his take on Trump calling the swamp “vermin”, as if it were now a sacred word that should somehow cause shivers and harken back to Nazis.
DeSantis rolled his eyes and finally told her that he wasn’t going to fall under a media trap to make him a some kind of “word referee” for Trump or anyone else. I think that answer is quite sufficient since Trump bombards DeSantis with nonstop insults and name calling pretty much every single night on his app.
