This has the MO of a tiger shark. Bull sharks attack and bite at anything without provocation. Reef sharks, not so much. Tiger sharks are known to attack people in order to eat them. Paddle boards are big, and most people stand up to paddle them.

Bad situation. But if you’re gonna be out where the sharks are... don’t be on a sandwich...er...paddleboard. Tourists seem to have no respect for the danger they put themselves in..I was on a beach in Sicily and my buddy took a paddle board so far out I lost sight of him. Oh well, I thought, how am I going to explain this to the authorities. Fortunately he came back... but I was really worried for awhile there... thought he was on his way to Africa.

This has the MO of a tiger shark. Yes, this was a very nasty and aggressive shark to go after a paddleboarder. It's a terrible shame, the woman was just married a day or so ago.
