For some reason, one of my favorite memories of a snowstorm is the *silence* of it - interrupted only by the sound of tire chains going down the road occasionally.
People don’t use chains where I am, anymore; I really miss that sound...
Oh, yes, the silence!
It is actually really rare to hear that complete silence...
