They're a 24/7/365 operation. It used to be that when the contractor turned over the door keys for a new store, they threw them away!
Most of you probably already know about the FEMA Waffle House disaster level assessment, it has been discussed here multiple times.
Also, if you come in after 1AM without a firearm, they loan you one.
just kidding
“Also, if you come in after 1AM without a firearm, they loan you one.”

Made me laugh.
The first time I saw and heard what vigilante justice was, I was inside a Waffle House in Dallas, Texas in 1982.
I was eating an early Saturday morning breakfast with my mother, I was 15 years old. A drunk guy was getting angry, rude, and mean with the wait staff, so they told him to leave. He refused, so the manager said he would call the cops and have him removed. He started cussing and throwing things and said he was going to his truck to get his gun and he was coming back in and killing everyone!
I knew my mother carried a snub-nosed 38 in her purse, and as he left she grabbed her purse, pulled out the 38, and had it under the table. As this was happening, I heard at least four other slides racking and the manager leaned down like he was getting something out from under the cash register.
The drunk just got in his vehicle and left. But if he had walked back inside that Waffle House, I have no doubt they would have been able to use him as a sieve when everyone was done with him!! LOL!
