Back in the good ol' days of the 1960's, I was a proponent of "boating, NOT busing", allowing those who REFUSED to adapt to ESTABLISHED Societal norms, such as the nuclear family, traditional moral and spiritual values, and responsibility,to take a boat back to the motherland, or, adapt and accept your role and opportunity.

Unfortunately, pandering politicians just wanted their votes, via taxpayer handouts, and here we are today.

SOMEDAY, we'll again see white male fathers with white female wives, in advertising and movies.

For now, we see Tyrone with his white "significant other", and half-breed babies, driving their Mercedes to "the office", after mowing his lawn in suburbia.

The sad part of that scenario is that in real life, more often than not if one encounters a black man with a White female companion the female usually looks like she took third place in an Iowa hog judging contest. Harsh I know, but ...

Anyway I think that tide may be turning a bit. I have seen a few commercials recently that were remakes of commercials from a while back that feature normal couples and even a few that (gasp) feature all Whites! I was glad to be sitting down at that time ...

My sister did the word jumble in yesterday’s paper and the couple in the comic was a white man and black woman.
