Whoever wins the game it won’t reflect the strength of either team.

Georgia will be without around 20 players that were on the roster at the end of the year, 15-20 of those players went into the transfer portal, of the players transferring 5-6 of them were 5-star recruits, Georgia had the #1 recruiting class again this year, however, they lost nearly an entire recruiting class in the transfer portal.

FSU is going to be missing their starting QB, RB, and top 2 pass catchers, plus a couple of their best players on defense, all of these players are either already injured or opting out for the NFL draft.

The winning team will have some bragging rights, the game is basically a glorified scrimmage because of all the players who are out.

All true. I’ve argued for years the bowls were meaningless, especially when many of the best players don’t care and can’t be bothered to play in them. But nobody cared when our best QB opted to have surgery and missed the bowl game against ucf a couple years ago. Nobody cared when our QB sat out the bowl game last year and we had to start a guy who AFAIK had never taken a snap in a game for us before. So now I will be absolutely merciless in return if fsu loses.

If players opt out it means they’re quitters. If fans say it doesn’t matter then they’re just sour grapes sore losers. These were the rules as explained to me by many others. Fine. Those rules apply now. Let’s see what ya got fsu.
