I like how quickly you can cook it. I’m younger than most here and value that so I’m surprised at this/.
There is the cost which lurk mentioned...
I didn’t like it that much when it was cheaper - though I did like home-cured corned beef.
I liked pork, too; but when they decided to make it all lower in fat, it didn’t have much taste anymore.
I still like ham...but even that doesn’t seem as good as it used to be.
