I heard that the globe was once a very popular paper and what made it popular was the sport section. Is that still the case?

LOr is the sports section full of BS like the rest of that rag.

They were known for their sportswriters. The general news was liberal but then they went all out Marxist and we had to cancel.

Yes,the Globe had the best Sunday sports section, before the internet. Never bought it during the week but every Sunday morning I would walk to the store to pay 75 cents for the thickest sports section around. I was a sports junkie Red Sox ,Bruins, Celtics and the lowly Patriots. Now I wouldn’t even use it to line a bird cage. The owner John Henry is a pinko commie. As for sports I haven’t paid attention to the Red Sox and Celtics for years. I still listen to the Pats on the radio. The Bruins are my last real sports vice but the NHL is just a ghost of it’s glory days in the 70’s and 80’s.
