Requiring Solidarity to Beat the COVID Pandemic Gave Conservatives 'Fundamental Brainstem Rage'

I still think frequently about the fact that a pandemic came & created an undeniable moral imperative for solidarity -- for acting together, on one another's behalf -- and it caused an eruption of fury among conservatives that is still raging.

There was no moral imperative. There was only social coercion to conform. Destructive mandates were imposed after polls showed Republicans were vax resistors. The mandates were political persecution. Nothing less.

The “solilidarity” cures (masks, social distancing, school closures, etc) were unworkable and worse than the disease.

No, it did not. The fake “pandemic” created a need for intelligent resistance

Roberts builds a nice strawman, but it is easily struck down.

“Solidarity” was, in his mind, necessary to beat Covid (or as he later states, Climate Change), but that solidarity means doing what the Left says to do. So we conservatives don’t want to do what it takes to beat Covid. NO!

We don’t want to do what the LEFT says to do to beat Covid. Those things are not the same. The so-called Conservative movement not wanting to commit to “solidarity” is the strawman.

Take for example the enforcement of no going out to eat, pray in a church, go to the gym, or even the skateboard park (anyone remember when Los Angeles actually filled the skate park with sand to prevent people from skating?).

Doing any of that was equal to wanting to kill Grandma.

However, if you were rioting, looting or just protesting George Floyd’s murder, well that was okay. If you were a rich democrat politician, it was okay for you and your elite friends to sneak into a restaurant or gathering or dance hall.

Covid was smart enough not to infect protesters or the rich democrat politicians but would spread like wildfire at church or the gym.

Solidarity my ass.

Try hypocrisy.

The author of this article is a simple minded lib with no understanding of how a free society is better than one that is regimented, as all socialist countries are.

When you have true freedom, citizens will look at a problem from their own perspective and attempt to manage in the manner they decide is correct.

Some will fail, some will be correct and quite a few others will simply luck out and be OK.

When government forces every single soul to follow its directives, and the decision on how to act is fatally flawed, there is a public catastrophe.

After the wu-flu lesson anyone who does not see the results of what wrong decisions by government will do to the civilian population is truly dense.

Maybe the coming disasters in the finance, real estate (all caused by the federal reserve scam)and electrical brownouts will wake them up....but the idiots will wake up screaming “Evil capitalists caused this”.

There is no cure for stupid.

“Requiring solidarity”? The weasel who said this seems to be trying to compare this to the solidarity that arose after the attacks on Pearl Harbor and the World Trade Towers. But that solidarity was spontaneous and voluntary, it did not need to be “required.”

This weasel is just trying to hide the tyranny of the government Covid policies.

The US simply cannot afford paying out entitlements (underfunded liabilities) to 65+. Social Security cannot pay after 2030. Since Government never cuts spending, guess who is getting cut…?

The government agencies pushing the killer clot shot and preventing the use of life saving measures destroyed all confidence in these agencies.

Check back in 50 years to redress the issue.

These folks are really trying to frame conservatives as mentally damaged with a by product of rage? Using COVID as the impetus? Today? Even now? 😂

To the Democrat/Communist Left, taking exception to unhealthy, potentially deadly lies and to political science posing as medical science, and to the tyranny that accompanies this, is a brain malfunction. Another example of the complete absence of any sense of introspection of those on the Left.

Yes. Not to mention the Covid protocols were a disaster. Lives ruined. Businesses ruined. People fired. People died alone. Lives lost. Trillions lost. On and on. This guy wants to be forgiven of all that because he had good intentions. We told him he was wrong but liberals are too arrogant and self righteous to listen.
